Who is responsible for this site
Miguel Iglesias Valenzuela is the creator and person responsible for TechnologyTools. He develops and maintains the tools, writes their documentation, and reviews the content to keep it useful, clear, and up to date. TechnologyTools is an independent project based in Madrid (Spain): there is no editorial team behind a brand — authorship, and therefore accountability, sits with one named person.
Every tool page carries a byline identifying the author of record and the date of the last review, so you can always tell who published a calculation and when it was last checked. The Editorial Policy states this in full, and the Team page documents the review process itself.
Editorial principles
- Standards before approximations. Formulas reference documented standards (RFC, IEEE, IEC, ISO) rather than ad-hoc rules of thumb.
- Math that is tested. Calculations run through an automated test suite on every change, so a published example and the tool that produces it cannot drift apart.
- No invented authority. No contributor is credited with credentials, experience, or qualifications they do not hold, and no statistic is published without a source.
- Corrections are public. Confirmed errors are fixed on the page where they appear and that page's review date is refreshed — not buried in a changelog.
- Privacy by construction. Tools execute in the browser; inputs are never transmitted to a server.
How content is verified
- Formula verification against primary standards and vendor documentation.
- Numerical validation of every worked example against independent references.
- Editorial review of the explanation text for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness.
- Periodic re-audit of calculations and wording as standards evolve.
The full methodology, including how discrepancies are reported and handled, lives on the Editorial Policy page.

Nothing here asks for trust without a way to check it: About explains what the project is and the principles it is built on; All Tools lists every calculator and converter; the Blog holds the long-form guides (subnetting, PSU sizing, bytes vs bits, eDPI); and Contact is the channel for corrections, with contacto.webproyectos@gmail.com published for direct reports.
