Creator Tools – Online Utilities & Calculators
Creator utilities for social-media image presets, thumbnails, subtitles, and other publishing tasks. Exported media is generated locally.
Creator tools here prepare images for social platforms with the exact pixel dimensions each platform expects, plus subtitle timing adjustments for video publishing. Every export is rendered in your browser from your original file.

Platform presets and why they exist
Instagram posts (1,080×1,080), stories (1,080×1,920), YouTube thumbnails (1,280×720), and Twitter/X cards each have expected aspect ratios; a mismatched upload gets cropped by the platform in unpredictable ways. Using the preset guarantees the composition you see is the composition viewers get. The resizer supports fit modes so you decide whether to crop, pad, or stretch — cropping preserves quality, padding preserves content.
Thumbnails that survive shrinking
- Most viewers see thumbnails at 10–20% of full size; test readability at small scale before uploading.
- Keep text under ~6 words and in the safe center area, since UI overlays cover corners on some platforms.
- Export at exactly 1,280×720 for YouTube — larger files are recompressed, smaller ones look soft.
Common mistakes
- Upscaling a small image to a preset size — enlargement adds blur; recrop from the original instead.
- Re-compressing an already-compressed JPEG repeatedly, stacking artifacts.
- Adjusting subtitle timing by the wrong direction (earlier vs later) — always test with a ±1 s shift first.
