Editorial Policy & Standards

Last updated: September 2026

1. Our Editorial Mission

TechnologyTools publishes free, browser-based utilities and their supporting documentation. Our editorial mission is to explain how each tool works, what technical standards it is based on, and when its results are reliable. We prioritize accuracy, transparency, and privacy over promotional language.

2. Who Writes and Reviews Our Content

All tool documentation is written and reviewed by the TechnologyTools editorial team, an independent editorial project based in Madrid (Spain). No contributor is credited with credentials or qualifications they do not hold; the team focuses on verifiable, standards-based technical accuracy.

Each tool page carries a byline identifying the editorial team and the date of the last review. This makes authorship — and therefore accountability — fully transparent.

3. Accuracy & Verification Standards

  • Standards-based formulas: Calculators reference documented standards such as RFC, IEEE, and ISO formulas rather than ad-hoc approximations.
  • Peer-style review: Before a tool page is published, a technical reviewer checks the explanation, the formula, and the sample computations against reference data.
  • Regular revision: Pages are re-examined when specifications change (for example, new storage or networking standards) and the review date is updated accordingly.
  • Discrepancy reporting: Readers can report errors directly to contacto.webproyectos@gmail.com; confirmed errors are corrected and the page review date is refreshed.

4. Independence & Advertising Disclosure

All tools on TechnologyTools are free to use and run entirely in your browser. We may display advertising through Google AdSense to keep the site operational, but advertisements never influence which tools we build, how we rank them on the site, or how we document them. We do not accept payment to feature, prioritize, or remove any tool.

5. Use of AI-Assisted Tools

To maintain editorial efficiency, AI-assisted writing tools may be used to draft or refine documentation. Every piece of published content is reviewed, fact-checked, and approved by a human editor before publication, and human editorial judgment always overrides machine output. Tools are tested against real inputs and outputs by the review process described above.

6. Corrections Policy

If you find an error — a wrong formula, an outdated specification, or a misleading example — please email contacto.webproyectos@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge reports within 5 business days and to correct confirmed errors promptly. Confirmed corrections are reflected in an updated review date on the affected page.

Questions about this policy can be sent to: contacto.webproyectos@gmail.com.
