Text Case Converter

Convert any text between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, and kebab-case in one click.

Case conversion runs locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case: Where Each One Lives

  • camelCase: JavaScript variables and functions; PascalCase: JS classes and React components.
  • snake_case: Python, SQL, and database column names.
  • kebab-case: URLs, CSS classes, HTML data attributes — and file names, because it survives case-insensitive filesystems.
  • The error this converter prevents: retyping an identifier between languages and dropping or misplacing a word boundary, which produces bugs that compile but silently mismatch.

What Each Case Mode Does

  1. Paste or type your text into the input area.
  2. Click any of the eight case buttons to transform the text instantly.
  3. The result replaces the input, so you can apply further transformations or copy it immediately.
Formula & Technical Standard
Standard JavaScript string transformations implemented over Unicode-aware word splitting (Intl.Segmenter where available).

Example Input & Output

Title Case for a blog headline
Input: the complete guide to css grid
Output: The Complete Guide to CSS Grid
Title Case capitalizes principal words while keeping articles and prepositions lowercase.
snake_case for a variable name
Input: User Account Balance
Output: user_account_balance
Identifiers in Python and SQL commonly use snake_case; converting a phrase by hand is error-prone.

Common Questions

Does it handle accented characters?

Yes. Case conversion uses the standard Unicode casing rules, so á, ñ, and ç are uppercased and lowercased correctly.

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalizes each principal word ("The Quick Fox"). Sentence case only capitalizes the first word of each sentence ("The quick fox").
