Structured Data (Schema.org) Generator

Generate valid JSON-LD structured data for six common schema types — FAQ, Article, Product, Organization, Local Business, and Breadcrumbs.

<script type="application/ld+json">
{
  "@context": "https://schema.org",
  "@type": "FAQPage",
  "name": "",
  "description": "",
  "url": "",
  "mainEntity": [
    {
      "@type": "Question",
      "name": "Question one?",
      "acceptedAnswer": {
        "@type": "Answer",
        "text": "Answer one."
      }
    },
    {
      "@type": "Question",
      "name": "Question two?",
      "acceptedAnswer": {
        "@type": "Answer",
        "text": "Answer two."
      }
    }
  ]
}
</script>

JSON-LD is Google’s recommended structured-data format. Validate the output with the Rich Results Test before deploying.

Valid Markup Is Not Eligible Markup

A schema generator can produce JSON-LD that validates perfectly — and still earn nothing, because Google only shows rich results for types it supports and only when the markup describes visible page content. The two rules that prevent most failures: mark up what the user can actually see (an FAQ block hidden in the DOM is not eligible), and never mark up content you do not control (reviews must be real and collectible). After deploying, the Rich Results Test tells you eligibility, not guaranteed display.

How the Generator Works

  1. Pick a schema type from the six supported templates.
  2. Fill in the fields relevant to that type — the form changes per type and only requires what the schema actually needs.
  3. The JSON-LD is generated live and syntax-validated.
  4. Copy the <script type="application/ld+json"> block into your page or validate it with Google’s Rich Results Test.
Formula & Technical Standard
Output is JSON-LD in schema.org vocabulary, the format Google explicitly recommends over Microdata and RDFa.

Example Output

FAQ page markup
Input: 5 questions and answers
Output: FAQPage JSON-LD block
Valid FAQ markup makes pages eligible for rich result enhancements in search.
Local business
Input: Name, address, hours, phone
Output: LocalBusiness JSON-LD with address and openingHours
Business details in structured data help maps and search surfaces display accurate information.

Common Questions

Which format should I use: JSON-LD, Microdata, or RDFa?

JSON-LD. It sits in a single script tag, does not tangle with your HTML, and is Google’s recommended format.

Does schema markup guarantee rich results?

No. Valid markup makes you eligible, but Google decides when to show enhancements based on content quality and intent.
